Permolit Damp Seal Paint is a solvent-based, thermoplastic resin-based, ready-to-use matte insulation paint designed to provide a permanent solution to moisture problems.

Application Areas

This specially formulated paint is highly effective against moisture-related issues on both interior and exterior surfaces, including:

• Basements, foundation walls, garages, storage rooms, and cellars
• Tunnels and north-facing interior walls
• Damp surfaces, painted or unpainted

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation:

✔ Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust, grease, and old paint residues.
✔ Scrape off blistered or peeling areas until a solid base is reached.
✔ Repair damaged surfaces using appropriate fillers.
✔ Remove excess water with a dry cloth.

2. Application:

✔ Stir the product thoroughly before use.
✔ No thinning required – apply directly with a brush or roller.
✔ Apply two coats, allowing 24 hours between each layer.
✔ Clean tools immediately after use with synthetic thinner.

Coverage

✔ 4-6 m² per liter in a single coat (Depending on surface absorbency and texture).

Drying Times

✔ Touch dry: 1-2 hours
✔ Fully dry: 24 hours
✔ If applying another coat of paint over it, wait 1 week.

Storage & Shelf Life

✔ Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
✔ Protect from freezing and keep the lid tightly closed.
✔ Shelf life: 2 years in unopened packaging.
✔ Maximum stacking: 7 units of 2.5L or 8 units of 0.75L per stack.
